Common Management Admissions Test (CMAT) 2013 is a B-school entrance exam that will be conducted by All India council for Technical Education (AICTE) from next year. It is an entrance test for admission to 4,000 colleges that offer MBA and 500 colleges which run postgraduate diploma programmes in management.
Since this is first time that the exam will be conducted, students are very apprehensive about the pattern and structure of the exam, CMAT will have the following four sections with multiple choice questions. (MCQ).
The duration of the exam is three hours or 180 minutes. Expected time per section in CMAT is 45 minutes. Students will be awarded 4 marks per correct answer, and an incorrect answer will carry a penalty of 1 mark.
