AICTE has introduced a National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) which will allow management institutes to select suitable candidates. The B-Schools of the country will enroll students in AICTE approved management programmes on the basis of their CMAT test scores.
AICTE has now decided to held CMAT exam twice in a year on the pattern of MAT and GMAT exam to give more freedom to students to submit their best scores to respective institutes or colleges. The notification is issued to announce the schedule for conducting second Test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission for academic year 2013-14.
The candidates who have already appeared in CMAT (First Test) may also appear for Second Test and better of two scores will be used for admission for 2013-14.

Candidates can register themselves by visiting official website www.aicte-cmat.in, between 1st November, 2012 to 2nd January, 2013. Aspirants can select three cities for online examination from the available options according to their preferences. Allotment of the test centres will be based on the basis of first come first served.

AICTE will provide the detailed merit list to the respective State government for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their admission procedure.
If any state does not receive any central counselling scores, the scores can be used in other AICTE approved Institutes/University Departments.
